Presidency's Message

And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the reason we celebrate this beautiful season. We testify that He is the Christ, the Son of the living God. May your holidays be joyful, warmed by love for Him whose birth we honor and whose life we strive to emulate. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

    During this beautiful season of Thanksgiving, we give thanks for each of our Primary friends in our stake. We also want to thank all Primary leaders and teachers for loving the Primary children whom you serve. Each Primary child is known to our Father. Each one is His precious child.

    As you faithfully fulfill your callings, you are serving our Father in Heaven and bringing souls to Christ. Each of you is known to our Father. Each of you is His precious child. We love you and enjoy serving with you.

Pennies By the Inch

Thank you to all primary staff and children for your prayers and efforts with Pennies by the Inch on behalf of the children (and their families) at Primary children's Medical Center.  A total donation amount of $3,525.45 was collected.  This is the essense of charity.

Trunk or Treat

Once again Ely Nevada Wards will be participating in Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 31 in the Stake Center Parking Lot.  This is not sponsored by the Stake but is supported.  Contact your ward Bishopric for details and assignments.

Don't forget November 13 at 6:00 is our Stake Auxiliary Training Meeting. We have some WONDERFUL training for next year. Included in our training is:

It was be a wonderful meeting and we look forward to seeing all presidents, counselors, secretaries, and music leaders.

Stake Conference Leadership Meeting

All Stake and Ward auxiliary presidencies are invited to the 4:00 Leadership Meeting with the Stake President.  A light dinner will be served before the 6:00 meeting so you do not have to go home in between.  We hope to see all presidents, counselors, and secretaries there.  I'm sure it will be a WONDERFULLY spiritual meeting.

2011 Cub Scout Leader Pow Wow - East

Elko is hosting "A day of fun-filled, action-packed hand-on basic and supplemental training sessions for adult leaders to help better deliver a fun and exciting program to youth."

It is Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 8:15 to 4:00 pm at the LDS Church, 3210 Sage Crest Drive, Elko.
